Many new things are expected from Chrysler in upcoming years. One of them is a new SUV, which should come as a successor of Compass. We believe that new model will continue in the same manner as facelifted model, which came inspired by Grand Cherokee. The 2018 Jeep Compass should come with several engines in offer. We believe that current 2.4 and 2.0 liter units will carry over, but with some improvements in terms of power and economy. Also, we expect some new powertrains in offer. We expect that the new Hurricane engine that company prepares for new Wrangler, will be available for this SUV too. It is a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, with displacement of 2.0 liters. This engine should come in pair with new 8-speed automatic, and have max output of more than 300 horses.

Exact details about release date are still unknown. However, we expect that 2018 Jeep Compass will somewhere next year. When it comes to price, current model starts at 19.000 dollars and we don’t expect some bigger changes for new SUV.
