Nevertheless, Ford prepared another engine for Sport version of Edge. It could be 3.5-l V-6 EcoBoost drivetrain. Its combined mpg rating is 27, so it could be more attractive to buyers. Finally, mid-range unit is 2.0-l with turbocharger. It takes position between two models with power output and fuel economy. All drivetrains are sending power through 6-speed automatic transmission. Manual is also an option, but with 5 gears.

There are few differences between regular and Sport edition of Edge. Sharp eyes of fans will spot these immediately. However, bumpers and hood are more aggressive.
