2019 Buick Avista Interior, Release date, Specs

It looks like the stylish coupe concept will finally enter serial production next year as 2019 Buick Avista. Two years ago, this model had a premiere at the 2016 International Auto Show. When we look at this time distance, it is certain that this was one of the biggest stars in Detroit those days. Many experts agreed that this was the most stylish American car in few decades, if not more. So, a serial production of this concept quickly became a must.

Latest reports suggest that we are finally going to see its production version, probably already next year. We can only hope that the serial model won’t be much different compared to this stupendously stylish concept. In terms of mechanics, things should remain the same, including a 400-hp twin-turbo engine as well. Expect brand-new coupe to arrive somewhere in the next year.

2019 Buick Avista redesign

Speaking of base design characteristics, 2019 Buick Avista shouldn’t feature too many changes. This concept used the same platform as Cadillac ATS-V Coupe and Chevy Camaro. With such advanced chassis, we have no doubt that the new coupe will provide a highly refined driving experience, combining performances with the luxury. This Alpha platform seems pretty American. A large chassis with an RWD layout seems like a perfect choice for this car. This coupe will take the best from two above-mentioned models, combining grand tourer and pony car characteristics.

When it comes to the styling, we can only hope that the 2019 Buick Avista will be as close as possible to the concept version. That concept is one of the prettiest American cars in past few decades and it would be a real shame to spoil it with the production model. Sleek profile, perfect curves, long hood with Buick’s recognizable grille and badge make a beautiful combination. In terms of styling, this car looks like a real luxury grand tourer. However, it keeps a high dose of aggressiveness so it is quite possible to see some hi-performance version in the future because this design definitely deserves something like that.

The cabin of the new 2019 Buick Avista should bring all the joy of the concept’s amazing refinement. We still can’t take our eyes off that stylish dashboard and center console. It all seems so unique and integrate, like a perfect entirety. Dominated by blue lighting, the dashboard feature some kind of an integrated instrument cluster and center screen, which makes it clear that this car will be about driver’s pleasure above everything else. A sporty but highly comfortable seats will probably come with a little bit more conventional design, though 2+2 configuration will certainly remain.

The Buick Avista Concept features a mighty twin-turbo V6 engine and we have no doubt that the production model will come in the same manner. It is a highly-efficient, new 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine which delivers around 400 horsepower. To provide best-possible efficiency, this engine is also equipped with cylinder deactivation, for better fuel economy. This huge amount of power is sent to rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, which should also remain.

The 2019 Buick Avista will also feature GM’s famous Magnetic Ride Control, to provide excellent handling. Considering the potential of the concept, we could expect to see some hi-performance version in the offer as well. This version would feature a bigger engine with even more power and numerous other tweaks.
