2018 Cadillac CTS-V

This luxury brand will continue to offer this hi-performance version of its popular mid-size car and it will come next year as 2018 Cadillac CTS-V. Just like other luxury brands, Cadillac also decided to offer a performance version of its models. This variant came in 2004, in order to compete with performance models from other companies, primarily with German cars like Audi RS6, BMW M5, Mercedes E63 AMG etc. During these years, CTS-V became one of the leaders in segment. It offers a perfect balance between amazing performances and easiness for everyday use. The 2018 CTS-V will continue in the same way, offering even more power and speed, new design and much more. New model will come next year.

First of all, there is a new look, which is amazing. With larger wheels, amazingly aerodynamic body kits and extremely sharp lines, it is clear from the very first moment that this car hides a monster under the hood. Same thing is inside. The 2018 Cadillac CTS-V comes with amazing interior, with racing flavor, but still full of various kinds of amazing technologies. For example, there the latest version of company’s infotainment system, which comes with things such as music, navigation, phone integration, Apple Car and Android Auto connectivity etc. Also, there are many other amazing things, such as rearview mirror, which is actually a hi-resolution display, which eliminates any kinds of blind spots and similar things.

This is the most amazing part of the car. This model borrows the engine for new Corvette. It is a 6.2 liter supercharged V8, which has max output of 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. Transmission is the biggest disappointment from this car. Don’t take us wrong, automatic gearbox works just excellent. However, it is strange that the car with such amazing numbers in terms of power doesn’t have manual transmission in offer. Anyway, 2018 Cadillac CTS-V has amazing performances. It goes from 0 to 60 in about 3.7 seconds, while top speed is over 200 mph.

Add all wheel drive so we can drive it all year long. Why let the Mercedes E63 be the only AWD super performance sedan.

I don’t think Cadillac is serious about what the consumer wants. I, too, have a 2016 CTS V and would trade it in a heart beat for a 840 HP 2018 CTS V. CADILiLLAC!!! Get your act together!!! May have to go to Merecedes or BMW. I also want AWD.

  6. Todd says:

This engine in the 2017 CTS (as opposed to the CTS-V) body allows it to compete favorably with Audi A8L and S Class in performance and interior comfort and size. The cabin dimensions are different for some reason in the CTS and the CTS-V, with the latter being smaller.

  7. STEVE FRIEDMAN says:

GM HAS PRODUCED MORE CAR FOR LESS MONEY THAN ANY OF ITS COMPETITORS. IF GM WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THIS CAR AND KEEP THE PRICE DOWN, GM WILL REVIVE ITS REPUTATION AND KICK THE FOREIGN (OVER PRICED CARS) IN THE BUTT. KEEP IT UP MARY, YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON TO LEAD GM BACK TO PROMINENCE
